Finding new life in single use.

I have always been passionate about creating beautiful things from recycled materials, especially single-use plastics! Growing up, my parents were my greatest inspiration, both being creative individuals in their own way.

My father, a skilled builder and concreter by trade, gave me the incredible opportunity to learn the appreciation for hard work, attention to detail, and the satisfaction of creating something with your own hands. My mother, a lover of arts and crafts, always experimenting with various handmade creations and always encouraging me to watch and learn. It was the combination of my parent’s passions which inspired me to create this range.

My journey began in the hospitality industry and spending my time between Sydney and Bali. The amount of single use plastics being discarded was disheartening.

I started collecting discarded bottles, bags, containers (anything plastic), and glass bottles from venues and with each item I envisioned a design waiting to be created and given new life.

My partner, who I admire for his patience and support, often lovingly calls me a bin chicken as our garage has reflected a recycling tip chic look at times.

I love pushing the boundaries of what is possible from sustainable and eco-friendly production and it’s a reminder that even the smallest actions can have a lasting impact on our planet, and that beauty can truly be found in the most unexpected places.
